Hi! I’m Isabella Ayres, a studio artist from Shreveport, Louisiana. I recently graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art, concentrating in Painting and Drawing, and a minor in Interior Design.

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I work primarily in acrylic and oil, often incorporating mixed media to build texture, depth, and meaning. My creativity also extends beyond the canvas through refinishing furniture and reimagining pieces with a history of their own.

Studying abroad in Florence, Italy, expanded the way I see and create. That experience deepened my appreciation for craftsmanship, sparked a love of printmaking, and continues to influence my work today.

With more than 200 pieces created, my work reflects an ongoing exploration of materials, ideas, and personal expression. As my style continues to evolve, I’m building a creative life rooted in my love of art and design—and sharing what I make along the way.
